ALL-STAR TEAM
ON YOUR MARK, GET SET, LEARN
Hello! This is your Athletic Director, Kathy Lina
(principal), and I am pleased to be a part of LPS All-Star Team. As you may have noticed by this introduction,
our theme for this year is Team Work and Sports. Lorena Primary School is dedicated to coaching
(teaching) our students to be successful
in the classroom and to become life-long learners.
Each
morning our students will begin their day in the garage (gym) as they rev up their
engines to be energized learners. During
this time the children will participate in exercises, movement, songs, and so
much more. Our coaches (teachers) will
then lead the children to the field of learning (classrooms) for a day filled
with training and fitness projects (academic learning).
The
children will be engaged in the following training and fitness projects (this
is just a short list of projects):
a. Building
Reading Stamina
b. Dunk,
Swish, Score in Math
c. Ace
it in Writing
d. Hit
a Homerun in Science and Social Studies
e. Score
a Goal in the areas of Music, Library, P.E., and Computer
LPS
All-Star team would like to invite our parents to be a part of the training and
fitness process this year. I will be
providing more information as to how you, the parents, can join our team in the
near future. If you have any questions,
please call the Primary School at 857-8909 and one of our coaches or assistant
coaches will be happy to assist you.
