Dear Lorena Primary Family,
WOW!
It is hard to believe that this school year is almost over. After 36 years working for Lorena ISD, I will
be retiring. I have been so blessed to
have been a part of this AWESOME district!
I have seen many changes in my 36 year career. However, there is one major constant in all
this time—the smiles, hugs, and love of all the children. The children are the reason that I love my
job and what I will miss the most.
I am thankful to the parents for
their patience, support and understanding.
Parents are an important as a member of the educational team. I appreciate all that the parents have done
for the school. The PTO is so
supportive. I could never say THANK YOU
enough for all you have done for the school and for me.
I am so blessed to have had the
opportunity to work with so many dedicated and caring teachers and support
staff. The love and care shown to our
students is evident in all that you do.
All members of the staff are willing to do whatever is needed to ensure
that the campus is a safe and loving place for learning.
Even though I will not be at school
each day, I will still be living in Lorena.
I look forward to seeing everyone at district and community events. I
love to go to sporting events—see you there!
I would like to hear of the successes of all.
Some have asked what I am going to
do. My answer has been, “Whatever,
Whenever”. I love to work in my yard, so
I can be found outside most days. I will
continue to be a life-long learner. Since I like to do crafts, I would like to
learn how to do stained glass and oil painting.
I will do some traveling. I love
to do home improvement projects as well. I am looking forward to the next
adventures in my life.
In closing, I want to thank everyone
for the amazing memories. I have made so
many friends and we have shared so many wonderful times. I will miss the day to day work with all of
my Lorena family. I wish everyone
continued success. May you find
happiness in all that you do!
Love,
Ms.
Lina
Thank you Ms. Lina! You were the best kindergarten teacher I could have asked for as a child and I feel extremely blessed that you got to meet my children as principal.
